Okay, in case I’m confusing anyone, Rex Manning Day is a joke from the movie “Empire Records” (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0112950/).  The movie is about a bunch of kids who work at this kick ass independant record store.  They find out the store is in danger of being turned into a chain and they all band together to save it.  If you live in the LA area, Amoeba Records is pretty close to the atmosphere of the store in the movie.  At the beginning of the film the kids are opening the store and getting ready for an in store appearance of a teen pop idol named Rex Manning, bad pop at it’s finest.  Most of the kids are into punk or metal and find his appearance a huge joke, execpt for Liv Tyler’s character who is in love with him and had decided that he’s the one who she will lose her virginity to.  So they run around saying “It’s Rex Manning day, you can’t be sad on Rex Manning day”.  So anytime something exciting happens I always call it Rex Manning Day.  And I think a $1000 giveaway is pretty damn exciting.  So IT’S REX MANNING DAY!!!!!!!  Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awww, you never know.  You just might.  So, what’s GayMojo all about?

It’s a gay personals and chat site. Kind of a cross between manhunt and myspace. It has a serch directory and I may add blogs when it gets popular. If I did win the $1000 it would all go to much needed promotion. hehe. But like I siad, I never win anything.
