Not many people have, but Google actually offer free web pages. Nothing too exciting about free web pages I know. But there is a “twist” to Google Pages.

Check this out.. the comment below was taken from a press release put out by Google in February 2006..."Pages created with Page Creator will be crawled by Google (nasdaq: GOOG - news - people ) within a few hours, making the content immediately searchable. This is an advantage over other web-site hosts, which can take days to be included in Google’s search results” Read the full press release at the link below.

The pages you create at “GooglePages” will get listed on the Google Search Engine “within hours”.

Why’s that? Will Google only accept American members or something?

Googlepages require a gmail account and google only allows certain countries: USA, Australia, Phillipines and a few others to set up an account. You also need a cell phone that will accept text messages to receive your invitation code that will allow you to open up a gmail account. Sucks if your country isn’t on the list such as Canada.

Unfortunately, google has stopped doing this and moved on to something they can add a pricier version onto.  Oh well!

That is the Google way. They need to keep paying for all their perks.

all the shorcuts are going to fail with google, they start thinking from the point where we end!
