The time has come to pick the first of five $1000 monthly winners! The winner will be determined by the closing number of the NASDAQ stock exchange. Here’s how it will work:
The closing number will be six digits, four to the left of the decimal, and 2 to the right, like XXXX.XX. Each eligible member has been assigned an “entry number”. These numbers are listed below. If the two digits to the right of the decimal (XXXX.XX) match your number, then you win! If those numbers are 00, or between 65 and 99, then we move one digit to left, and use the two numbers on either side of the decimal (XXXX.XX). If those numbers don’t match any entries, then we move one more digit to the left, and use the two numbers to the left of the decimal (XXXX.XX). At that point, if the number doesn’t match, then we DO NOT continue to move to the left. Instead, we add the amount the market increased, or subtract the amount it decreased, since the previous close. We then start the process over using the new number. Here are the entry numbers. I will post the winner, and if necessary a detailed explanation of how it was determined, as soon as I figure it out. FYI, the market closes at 4 PM Eastern. Good luck everyone!
Guys… I’m sorry to say but it’s over… I just got off the phone with Allen Greenspan and the NASDAQ’s Chief Executive Officer, Robert Greifeld… They gave me the equation to write me a script that will allow me to.... At the very last second.... Just before the market closes… place a buy that will ensure # 24... you all should just give up...
